Playlist Theory

Every Rhythm Boxing round is built backwards from the track. Tempo sets the combination, and the drop sets the finisher.

Instructors do not pick music to fill the room. They pick the track first, then write the round to fit it — which is why the combination always lands where you expect it to.

Tempo Writes the Round

A 128 BPM track gives you a comfortable four-count combination. Push to 140 and the same combination becomes a conditioning round whether you meant it to or not.

"If the room does not move, the song goes."

Our instructors rebuild their sets monthly. If a track lands it stays for another block; if the room does not move, it comes out no matter how much the instructor likes it.

How a Set Gets Built

  • Pick the peak track first and place it in round five of eight.
  • Build the warm-up rounds down from it, roughly ten BPM at a time.
  • Save the slowest track for the finisher — heavy hands, not fast ones.

Every instructor shares their monthly set as a public playlist. Ask at the front desk and we will send you the link for the class you booked.
